Subject: Another Husky Bootcamp Report

Hi Jo Anna & All the Wild Things,
Well, Big Dog finally left this contraption turned on and he is somewhere
else, probability in the studio control room. Anyway, I know its
been a while but I have been real busy. Mostly growing up.
I am learning my behavior routines very well.I still like biting
but I am afraid that even Lady Dog won’t let me do it any more. She
and I had a big quarrel and I lost. My Puppy Permit has expired and
been officially pulled. I still got the last “word” in though… I
pee’d in her shoes. Boy was she mad. I won’t do that again
either!!!
There has been lots of new things. Big Dog had to go to the Vets,
far away in “Portland” they said. I was put out in my kennel at “O
dark thirty” in the morning and was there until well after 8:00 PM.
It was great though. Big Dog and Lady Dog let all the neighbors know
that I was going to be there and they all kept an eye on me. My friend,
Don, from over by the bridge, came to see me several times during the day
and brought some of my new four-legger friends. There was Troy and
Priscilla the Pugs, and Buddy, the “All American” (new term for Heinz 57
variety). They are great and they kept me company for awhile.
There is Snow, a golden Lab mix and he always come around. The neighbors
next door, Bob and Wanda also kept their eye on me as well. You know,
everybody loves a Husky.
There are lots of rules and “leave its”.; But there are also lots
of perks too. I am attempting to make friends with the Parrot, but
he’s pretty grumpy, see the attached pictures and Big Dog always has treats
but now I have to “Give Him Five” for them each time.
*
Boy these two-leggers are so easily amused. When they were gone for
the long day, they returned with all kinds of treats.; They stopped
at “Pet Smart”, I think they called it and brought all kinds of wonderful
things. One thing was a ring of “chew” keys for me because I am teething
and really need to chew on something. Boy, the keys sure help to
keep me out of trouble. I call them the “keys to happiness”.
*
I have a new game that I play with Lady Dog.; She uses this thing
she calls a “broom” to sweep the slick parts of the floor. It is
great fun to attack, pounce, jump, and growl at the “broom”. Check
out the pictures.
Big Dog is always the one who cooks.; He says that Lady Dog needs
a “blue print” to find the Kitchen, whatever a “blue print” is. I
can always get something good from Big Dog. He always gives me fresh
vegetables, meat treats, and all kinds of neat pasta and bread things.;
Some of my favorites are Cauliflower, Broccoli, and those Chow-Mien noodles.
Wow are those good. And afterwards, well pictures speak for themselves.
Check out my tummy rubbing.

Everyone here is very strict but also very loving. The rewards
are worth hassles. I went my Vets again, and Dr. Rott was so pleased
to see me and said I am growing up into a fine Husky. He said that
I am getting much more social and behaved. Everyone there gives me
the “red carpet” treatment. Just like all the others, they are wrapped
around my paws.
Well its time for me to go and chew a “greenie”. Boy I really
like those. Glad they found them. Everything here is great
but at times I still miss you and all the wild things. I keep checking
on how my new CD is going and Big Dog is making it better all the time.
However, like all entertainers, he insists on putting his voice on there
too. I told him to just limit it to my introduction. Got to
keep a tab on them all the time.
Love to you and I hope most of your discomfort has healed and you are
getting back to your “old self”. Sorry for the pun. I will
write again soon.
